This is the original Easy Wood Tool - the Easy Rougher. Not just your average carbide tipped tool, this tool was engineered from the ground up to tackle the unique characteristics of wood and the unique dynamics of woodturning. Ci0 Easy Finisher
The follow-up to the Easy Rougher, the Easy Finisher is completely redesigned with a round cutter instead of the square one. Much less aggressive, this tool allows for a finer finishing cut and the ability to handle tighter interior curves. Check out this video to see it in action.
Ci2 Easy Rougher Mid-Size
A smaller size of the original Easy Rougher. Excellent for all types of projects on smaller lathes like the Rikon Mini-Lathe.

Ci2m Mini Easy Rougher
When turning smaller pieces where larger tool will get in the way, the Easy Rougher is the tool that is needed to do the job. From pen turning to smaller bowls the Easy Rougher allows you to turn like a pro. Made just like the larger Easy Rougher, but smaller. A 3/8” suare shank holding a square carbide cutter is attached to a 12” premium hard maple custom handle finished with a hard clear finish.

Ci3m Mini Easy Finisher
Once you have roughed out the smaller turning with the Mini Rougher, you can then pick up the Mini Finisher for those final cuts. The round carbide cutter attached to the 3/8” square shank, makes finishing cuts a breeze. Great for pen turning, box’s, smaller hollow forms or just about any project you can think of. Available with a 12” hard maple handle or with out. Allen wrench included.

Easy Wood Tools offers a series of replaceable carbide cutter woodturning tools that address fatigue, safety and efficiency like no other tools. They are designed to effortlessly remove massive amounts of material on any woodturning project without the need for sharpening. The tools are designed with support directly beneath the cutting edge transferring the cutting pressure downward allowing the lathe to take the pressure that normally would go to your hands and body when roughing.
Our goal here at EWT is to step back and take a fresh look at the methods we use in woodturning. We have made every effort to eliminate the parts of woodturning that decrease our enjoyment:
Sharpening - No need to spend time sharpening with replaceable carbide cutters. Just rotate cutter when one side gets dull and when you've used all the sides, just replace with a new cutter.
Reduced kick-back and catches - Due to the neutral cutting angles, the tool is easy to use.
Fatigue - Pressure goes into the tool rest so your body doesn't get tired as quickly which equals more turning time.
Learning bevels - Our tools are held flat on the rest and parallel to the floor. Cut left, right or straight in within minutes of picking up the tool.

Made of the same carbide steel cutters that are found in all Easy Wood Tools. 6 different cutting edges for multiple applications. Available with a 12” hard maple handle or unhandled.
